1. Data We Collect

We collect account details, usage telemetry, and uploaded media metadata needed to operate RazorVid features. We also process uploaded footage, generated outputs, and safety reports submitted by users.

For nearby-project matching and live venue proximity radar, users may opt in to share approximate recording time and location data while taping or searching for projects. We do not expose exact coordinates in public search results or radar alerts, and project owners must approve any join request before access is granted.

Guest contributors may optionally provide an email address and explicitly share it with the project owner so the owner can send them the final render. This address is visible only to that project's owner.

2. How We Use Data

Data is used to authenticate users, process renders, maintain service security, troubleshoot failures, and improve performance.

3. Data Sharing

We share data only with infrastructure and processing providers necessary to deliver RazorVid, and only under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

4. Retention

We retain account and operational records for service continuity and compliance. Rendered video outputs are stored for 24 hours after a render completes so creators can download their video, then are automatically deleted. Uploaded angle footage retention windows may vary by plan or support agreement.

5. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational controls to protect data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

You can permanently delete your account from Account Settings in RazorVid. This removes projects you own, footage you uploaded, and associated render artifacts managed by RazorVid. Your contributions are removed from projects owned by other people.

Safety reports are restricted to authorized moderators and retained only as needed to investigate reported content and protect users. Project blocks are stored with the affected project so blocked contributors cannot rejoin or upload to it.
